The country’s administration has begun taking revenge for the killing of 26 tourists. From Thursday night, firing started along the Jammu-Kashmir border. Pakistani forces opened fire at several Indian posts, and the Indian Army responded strongly.
The house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Asif Sheikh, involved in the horrific Pahalgam attack on tourists, was completely reduced to ashes in an explosion. Meanwhile, security forces demolished the house of another Kashmiri terrorist, Adil Hussain.
According to reports, Asif Sheikh and Adil Hussain were two of the key conspirators behind the Pahalgam attack.
On Thursday night, Pakistani forces suddenly fired in areas close to the Line of Control. The Indian Army immediately retaliated. However, there are no reports of casualties on either side despite the exchange of fire.
After the incident of indiscriminate firing on tourists in Kashmir, tensions between the two countries have once again flared up.
Adil Hussain was a resident of Anantnag district, while Asif Sheikh was from Pulwama. According to police claims, a huge amount of explosives was stored in Asif Sheikh’s house. During a search operation, the police noticed something suspicious and moved to a safe distance, after which a massive explosion took place.
It is reported that Adil legally traveled to Pakistan in 2018 and returned to Kashmir last year after receiving training. Intelligence sources claim that Adil played the role of guide and transporter for the other terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. The security forces have now completely demolished his house as well.
The central government has announced that no terrorist or their aides will be spared under any circumstances — and the army seems to have already begun executing that policy.
Although the names and photos of four terrorists have come to light, sources suggest that 5–7 terrorists were actually involved in the incident.
Out of the three identified by name — Musa, Yunus, and Asif — it is known that they were also involved in the Poonch attack.
After the abrogation of Article 370, the Pahalgam attack is considered the biggest terrorist incident to date.
Photos of the three named accused have been released, and a bounty of ₹20 lakh has been placed on each of their heads.
