On the very first day of launch, Mahindra announced that bookings for their two electric cars have crossed 30,000 units.
The company stated that bookings had started earlier. Among the bookings, the XEV 9e secured 56% and the BE 6 secured 44%.
On the first day itself, Mahindra raked in a total of ₹8,472 crores from bookings.
Mahindra announced that deliveries for the Pack 3 variants will start around mid-March. Deliveries for the Pack 3 Select variant will begin in June, and Pack 2 variant deliveries will commence from July 2025. Deliveries for Pack One Above and Pack One variants will start from August this year.
Test drives for the two electric vehicles have already begun. Interested buyers can now take test drives of both models.
Mahindra is launching the two models city by city and arranging test drives accordingly.
From January 14, 2025, customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Ayodhya, and Kolkata will be able to test drive these electric SUVs.
Later, cities like Lucknow, Ahmedabad, and 15 more locations will also get this opportunity.
By February 7, Mahindra plans to offer test drives in the rest of the country.

- BE 6 is priced between ₹18.90 lakh and ₹26.90 lakh.
- XEV 9e is priced between ₹21.90 lakh and ₹30.50 lakh.

Mileage and Charging:
Mahindra’s new electric SUVs come with two battery options — a 59 kWh battery and a larger 79 kWh battery.
Both batteries support DC fast charging, providing up to 175 kWh charging speed.
As a result, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
- The BE 6 with a 59 kWh battery can run up to 535 km on a single charge, while with the larger 79 kWh battery, it can go up to 682 km.
- The Mahindra XEV 9e offers similar performance — 542 km with the smaller battery and up to 656 km with the larger battery.
Driving Modes:
The new Mahindra electric SUV models feature three primary driving modes — Range, Everyday, and Race.
There is also a Boost mode for extra power.
An additional important feature is the One-pedal Drive Mode, offering an easier and smoother driving experience.
It’s safe to say that Mahindra’s launch of these two new electric SUVs marks a major leap in the EV segment.
